Melissa Knight

Having served her entire career in the justice system, Melissa was instrumental in establishing treatment courts in Pinal County, Arizona. She successfully secured grant opportunities in the early days of the Adult and Juvenile Drug Courts, and later served as the Facilitator for the Treatment Court Steering Committee. Along the way Melissa also served as a board member of the Arizona Association of Drug Court Professionals. She has provided training on various topics throughout her career, including communication, motivational interviewing, trauma informed practices, and ethics. Melissa retired from full time work in October of 2024, but remains active in the profession as a volunteer trainer and workgroup facilitator.
