This workshop introduces practitioners to the research and the importance of engaging in and utilizing contingency management skills, and other responses to improve behavior modification. This session will allow participants to review and understand the research on contingency management for adolescents, and how teams can move from a “passive” to an “active” contingency management procedure. Attendees will also discuss appropriate use of sanctions and service adjustments to bring about strong engagement and outcomes for youth.
