Maia Hughes

Maia Hughes is in long-term recovery and a 2017 graduate of DWI court. Maia has served as a medicated assisted treatment coordinator for a non-profit contracted with the jail in Buncombe County, NC. She was a part of the adult treatment court team too. She now serves as the program director for that same non-profit, Sunrise Community for Recovery and Wellness. Maia is passionate about harm reduction, is a certified Recovery Coach and certified Alcohol Drug Counselor-I.
