Treatment court team members commit to the mission, goals, and procedures of the program, working as full partners to ensure the success of the court and to assist clients in their journey of recovery. The sustainability of the program and the recovery efforts of the participants may be affected by judicial team member transitions. Intentional succession planning remains an integral component of the continuous, effective operation of the recovery court. This session will discuss the critical steps and strategies in outlining and implementing a succession plan to maintain an effective program to assist clients in their recovery.
